tl;dr version: High German schmuckty-schmuck says Greece should bow out of the euro 'cause Germans still haven't figured out that their economic system is fundamentally flawed.
Granted, I think Greece should exit the euro too, but because I think the euro is doomed anyway at this point.

The idea of switching Greece to half Drachmas is laughable. Gresham's Law is pretty clear on that: you can't seriously expect to get through things with two currencies of obviously different values. Whatever official rate you set is going to be brought to its absolute knees by the black market. Anyone who suggested that is so clueless about economics that it's difficult to not laugh out loud.

In his 'defence', Alexander Dobrindt took over the 'attack department' of the libertarian party from current foreign minister and former party leader Guido Westerwelle.
'Attack department' being shorthand for 'appealing to stupid reactionary people'.
Which are the only people who take the guy halfway seriously, by the way.
EDIT: Sorry, mixed Alexander Dobrindt up with Patrick Döring.
Alexander Dobrindt is a completely different mouthpiece of crazy of a completely different party of political loudmouths.
